Originally released in 1996 as Scorpion Wind!s !Heaven Sent! CD/LP this album has long been considered the !lost! classic collaboration between Death In June!s Neo-Folk pioneer Douglas Pand Industrial Music!s renegade innovator Boyd Rice. Recorded in Australia prior to the pair starring in the cult film !Pearls Before Swine!, it is a unique, melodic and richly orchestrated ode to modern living, modern loving - and modern hating. Joined by percussionist John Murphy (ex-SPK, The Associates, Current 93) for the first of what was to prove many collaborations between the !Unregistered 3! and young Australian group Strength Through Joy (now Ostara), these recordings proved to be the perfect follow up to 1990!s ground-breaking Boyd Rice & Friends album  !Music, Martinis & Misanthopy!. However, due to legal problems with distribution, few were to hear this. Now for the first time in nearly ten years a digitally remastered CD is available including two extra tracks from the era and stunning new artwork,presented in a red and black foil-blocked !Softpak!.

Das Album beginnt mit einem netten klassischen Klavierstück, das eine sofort Dunkelheit gibt, deprimierende Atmosphäre...Diese Art der Art geht für den Rest des Albums weiter. Mit nettem lang, läßt Liede, dieses Album es Wert in meiner Ansammlung sein....

Wenn wir die Demo ein zweites Mal sorgfältig hören, sehen wir, daß die Guitarren wirklich gutes abgestimmt sind und daß es gutes zu den vocals paßt..Die Trommeln sind Art des Bohrens, zum zuuuuu hören, und wirklich einfach zu spielen :-)

This band was founded by a group of Italian native musicians with totally different musical origins, the final aim to form Ianva is to assemble these gifted music man.

Ianva, by their own words, is definitely an old school avant-garde with unique Italian temperaments in their compositions. It sends the tribute to the pop music of Italy as well as entire Europe in the form of  lyric, musical conception,the whole atmospheres, emotions and ect in past 40 years, and their music is perfect combination of  Chanson Cabaret(a kind of expressive form of French songs and dances) and Neo-folk.

Tunes for the wounded can be considered a lament. It is a defamatory accusation to the world and it’s suffering. Foundation hope lodges complaints through gritty ambient-industrial structures, broken sounds and despairing moods. Always without losing touch with the beautiful and melodic. Always with that tiny bright spark of hope, overshadowed by doubt and cynicism.

This successor to The faded reveries is a little more harsh. Incorporated are distorted guitar drones, tape-decks, broken strings and noisy outbursts. Firmly rooted in reality, this is tears dropping slowly, a herd crawling throu-gh mud and blood, and a call to a redeemer who isn’t there.

A collection of previously released material from obscure compilations and limited edition vinyls from notorius labels such as Der Angriff, WKN, CMI, Ars Benevola Mater, Slaughter Productions, Extremocidente or Autarkeia, most of which now unavailable!

Listening to this album as you can apparently feel the boundtifuly inspirational sources from AS ALL DIE, which definitely dominated by apocalyptic folk maestro  such as DIJ. It's easy to be identified, of the heavy cannon of WWI in the cover and the photos of soldiers in gas mask in the back, the motif of war and death have been praised once more, meanwhile, those classic techniques, integrated dark ambient soundscape with traditional strumming of guitars, present in the tracks of TOWAC   

“Symphonies of Divination” is the sophomore album of this very promising project from the medieval lands bordering the cold North Sea, Flanders (North-Belgium).

Dramatically straying from the neo-folk path of their debut album “Galder”,“Symphonies of Divination” offers dark and bombastic compositions with clear references to Slavonic, German and Scandinavian classical music.

Heavy percussion, assiduous spiccato string sections, dramatic horn accents and haunting choirs form the backbone of this album.

On the bumpy path towards the final destination ,confronts you with lots of invisible and  unpredictable snares and fallpits ,where  you need no more than a strand of care and a gain in a wit.No sooner than the success that follows ,do you appreciate what you encountered ,what befell you and what caused the previously unmendable loss .

At one time you might be struck by the immense sorrows that seem to be aggressive and injurious, tears falling down intendedly and unintendedly to wash away the smear in your broken heart ,however ,unnoticing the courage to move forward ,and to collect yourself. I have been cleansed and taught that as long as efforts have been esserted and the price has been paid ,no regrets should be eternally borne in mind ,since you steadily stride ahead and away from the the excruciating past and the untouchable scar.

Turing my back on you does not mean I have no care and concern  for you ,but keep them somewhere not at sight yet warming every inch of where you feel the chill

Art Zoyd, the musical group with four members, founded in 1968. if you coerce yourself classifying their musical genre, reluctant to say, only it would be a progressive-acid rock band. Their musical concepts have been influenced by the theory of Kandinsky ingraindly : Every member should represent his own specificity, ages and objective rules of artistic opinion. Owing to use much recording techniques, mixing and sample, despite the band of quaternity, makes the artistic content of  their opus not being overshadowed by other formal orchestration.

Since its founding, their songs have been tying a knot with performing arts, movie, drama and choreography, integrating with various creation form seems the sole interest to them. For example, once they had written the incidental music for silent motion-pictures shooting in the earlier of 1920 and 1930, many of which are horror moives or belong to the German expressionism such as Haxan, Nosferatu and Faust , even more nominated in European filmfests.

Serge Noyelle, French progressive-film director, had cooperated with Art Zoyd, who has been nurtured by a lot of Frech philosophers and surrealistic painters, took full advantage of various action form in his opus, no matter music, drama, dancing as well as the elements of lingting , set and composition of picture, each of which is very vital.

Warsaw, 1944, broke out an armed revolt struggled against the Nazi-German aggressors, which was in the scene of collaborating Red Army and AK - Armia Krajowa ( Polish National Army) togerther to impend Warsaw and obtained the regime supporting by USSR ——  Founding of Polish National Liberation Committee. However, the hard-core of this revolt, national army that belonged to the Polish exilic government settled in London for all years around, was aimed to occupy Warsaw before the red army coming and greeted the return of their government to re-grasp the political power. Since this revolt brought about enormously profound effects regardless of Soviet military action towards the Warsaw's direction or Polish political trend in the future either, which therefore triggered off the focus from different political forces including Soviet ,British-American allies and Polish native government. Owing to the great disparity of military strength plused the untimely aids of allies,  both two factors of technique but more about politics, eventually,the insurrection had been repressed brutally. 

This 7-inch vinyl from Cold Fusion properly dedicates to those war-ridden periods lasting 63 days of Warsaw in 1944.  

For human being , what's left behind by war isn't only the historical pain but real introspection once more, similarly , which is just as human creates the history indeed they never feel the sense of guilt for their deeds. Many years long gone, this is another magnificent lies made up by new generation when people try to overcome melancholy memory to revisit the old tough period reluctantly,meanwhile, but everything has grounded zero again and being ready for next cycle.

Once Lenin said:" forgetting past means treachery " , however less people understand its actual defination and significance. Betrayal , as it were, means escaping from the original location as to plunge yourself into the the more impenetrable darkness. SORROW EXPERT is a military-pop project founded by a couple of Ukrainian brothers. As the presentation of Russian new culture, at first, they two define their musical genre as death-folk mainly that resembles DEATH IN JUNE definitely, but afterwards, through a long period of collaboration, they move on to the next scene of martial/ apocalyptic folk with full,dense synth-voice, various samples and gentle soliloquy, which sounds more comfortable and at ease, indeed even though mixing much modern electronical elements also. Imagine, that you've been granted omnipotency of God only for five mins, what'll you do, it's tough question and hard to make decision. This world is too much wrong ,too much we disagree with, we don't think everything we support  is right ,but man is justifying themselves, therefore,

1.Try to treat everyone with love and respect that I would receive from them and apply this into my daily life;

2. Focus on what is right rather than what is wrong;

3. Forgive those who have hurt me and let go of old wrongs, there may be the peace of my earth

4. Find time to nurture my body, mind and soul even if it's a few minutes of each day

5. Find and express gratitudes to each day of my life

Decadence, after releasing his previous album" Something to Love,Something to Spend" in the format of E-vinyl then jumps to the label of CMI this time to release his new album" Where Do Broken Hearts Go". Actually I can only admit they are the most perfect combination that I've ever met , which mixes the two types of genres of Neo-Folk and Neo-Classical music wisely. So here I can identify them as dramatically Classical Symphonic Orchestra. Adding gentle performance of acoustic guitar and piano tunes with hollow man's voice of militarism,  what's on earth a kind of luxurious soundscape can be presented in front of your eyes? Definitely, that's the evenfall's sky flooded by rosy clouds, the romance being full of your sin have been beyond redemption.

Passing by five years, the Dutch martial veteran, A Challenge of Honour, re-writes its trilogy of historical tragedy in blood under the banner of French label Divine Comedy.The whole album includes two discs, only of CD1, the integration of total old songs released by three previous EP albums , simultaneously, CD2 contains all the songs of "Am Ende des Tages" and besides five bonus tracks.

"Trilogy" follows its consistently martial pathway, under the weight of powerful beating of percussion, depressive ambient of darkness and the sample of speech voice and warring background , which bestows us the introspective mind of composure to think about the pain of war and shadows in human nature.

The only factor that makes me confused is the cover image , a pair of shabby shoes is sloping against the wall, which I guess might imply us the long tough miles of death march and soldiers' indomitable spirit.
